It was stated that the Russo Bros. had multiple drafts of Captain America’s 3rd movie just in case they couldn’t get RDJ. I think Zemo would’ve been satisfied with that outcome as well. He hated the Avengers from taking away his family, with Stark obviously being the face of the Avengers. It might not have gotten rid of the Avengers, but it would take out one of their biggest contributors.

Hydra did infiltrate Shield. As we saw in Winter Soldier, the death of the Stark’s was pinned as a “car accident.” It’s easily believable that Hydra covered-up the murders to hide the fact that they did take the Super Soldier Serum

Batman vs. Superman could have been a great film.
