Anyone who grew up listening to NWA should be plenty pleased with the film. Just because a film falls into a few biopic cliches does not automatically make it terrible.
Even though Rock had an amazing and ferocious voice, which is why he was naturally tapped for many Boot Camp choruses, Sean P was very underrated. Such raw and unmatched lyricism. BCC shows were some of the most fun hip hop shows I've ever been to.

Yup, pretty much this. After Toxicity it seemed like all they wanted to do was put out goofy metal songs. They shoulda just called it quits right then and there.
