I guess I was still holding out hope that she could recover from some of her damage. After this episode, I think she's crossed the psychopath rubicon. And if she does recover, it will feel false to me. I don't think you come back from turning human beings into food.

I have no issue with her assassinating Walder Frey. But killing his children, carving up their corpses (try to imagine carving up a human being's corpse and turning it into food; I hope the idea sickens you), and feeding them to Frey is not a simple political assassination. If The Joker did something like that, it

Well, the Punisher is a villain. He's a serial killer, whose killing fetish happens to be people who have broken the law. And even the Punisher would never bother to kill someone's children and feed them to him; he would just shoot Walder Frey and be done with it. Arya's gone full Cartman (who is also a villain).

“The Winds Of Winter” is a lavish feast where every course is popcorn.

I think my favorite fast food burger is the Son of Baconator at Wendy's. I mean I like In N Out Burger a lot but if I'm being honest I don't know that it's my first choice for a cheap burger.

Yes, agreed. Growing up I used to rewatch all manner of terrible things, and now I can't even make time to rewatch great things. There are too many new and/or unexperienced things pressing on me to justify spending time with stuff I've experienced already. It's kind of great and it's kind of terrible.

Both The Invitation and Mustang are on my to-watch list, so hopefully I'll actually watch those.

One of the best super hero movies, period. A comedy classic.

Agreed. I really dug that show.

I really liked Michael and Michael Have Issues.

Hmm, I thought that meant for a second season, but probably I misunderstood.

Is direct purchase on his website still the only way to see it? If yes, has there been any indication of it being available through another platform in the future?

Recent polls show Clinton tied with Trump in Utah and beating him in Kansas. It's early days, but if that happened in November it would be mind-blowing.

There is a very, very clear difference. After another terrible and tragic weekend all this "lesser of two evils" and "Bernie or bust" childish nonsense is just unbearably naive. I mean, it always was, but now even more so.

Garbage was my first real favorite band (not counting The Monkees, when I was like six or seven years old) and I will always love them. I have seen them live three times and they are brilliant performers. I thought it might be fun to make a Top 10 favorite Garbage songs or something and add it to this comment but then

Yeah, I hope you're right. I'll give it a couple episodes anyway.

I really like Milioti, and I really like It's Always Sunny, but stories that are very drug-use positive just turn me off, so that "Sheryl Sandberg of weed" thing is a come down from my initial excitement reading about this. I'm actually for legalization in principle, but in practice some personal family history issues

Why does Commissioner Gordon need to be able to tear a phone book in half?

Me too. People love having celebrities they're "allowed" to be nasty about, because it lets those (especially those who otherwise consider themselves progressive) get the thrill of being part of a mob of bullies, with little chance of reprisal. Who will stand up for Kim Kardashian? Who will stand up for Adam Sandler

I hate Dazed & Confused. I'm pretty much done with Richard Linklater movies at this point.
