There’s actually a whole museum if you go to the top of the Rocky stairs and keep walking a little bit farther. It’s pretty neat. You get a nice view of the city from the top of the stairs too.

God, I’m so pissed at early 20's me for being such a snob. It used to be so important that I knew a band you didn’t. Turns out it’s a lot more fun to trade recommendations with your friends than it is to horde bands for hipster points.

They’re popular podcasters. They started with a comedy/advice show called “My Brother, My Brother, and Me” and gone on to make a ton of other podcasts. One of their most popular is their D&D Podcast “The Adventure Zone”

They are good friends with Lin-Manuel Miranda, and are similarly big fans of Kingkiller Chronicle.

One of my co-workers just started watching it. He was talking about it today and told me where he is in the series. He’s going to see Epidemiology for the first time tonight and I’m so jealous. I’m going to end up re-watching right along side him.

Thankfully, it’s pretty much impossible to misinterpret Bojack as someone to aspire to, so we at least get to miss that aspect of fandom. Can you imagine the person who would look up to Bojack the way people aspire to be Rick?

There’s something very amusing to me about the editor-in-chief misspelling Mignon’s name while referencing her in an article about learning how to write.

Moved to NYC (Brooklyn specifically) with my GF about two years back. Over the course of those two years, it has gone from being a city I didn’t care for to my least favorite city I’ve ever experienced. Expensive, mean-spirited, dirty and overcrowded. I can’t imagine how a person could possibly enjoy being in this

Thank you, Win+Left/Right is one of my most used shortcuts, and you’ve made it even more useful.

Most places you make it up Mon-Thus, but some places are actually a 36 hour week. I get out at 1 on Fridays but don’t stay late the rest of the week.

Yeah, remember when they handed the license off to some unknown studio to make an FPS version back in 2000? I’d hoped they would have learned their lesson and stuck to established teams after that.

I believe the term is actually “newspeak”

Telltale’s been working almost exclusively in licensed games since 2005. The only games they’ve made that weren’t based on another license were telltale texas-holdem (which got the ‘poker night at the inventory’ spirtual sequels that made them in to licensed products) and the puzzle agent games. I think it’s pretty

“As laughable as it is to believe that I might actually endorse these people” he says, in response to the backlash to a video of him literally endorsing people to make these statements.

I feel like there’s gotta be a more useful way to estimate this. One that doesn’t require memorizing the fibonacci sequence AND allows you to estimate numbers that might actually appear on road signs.

(weddings are different on this point, because there’s not a gift exchange. Plus a lot of cultures have a tradition of helping people start a life together. But cash at weddings is not always appropriate. It’s different if the couple is 20 and four verses 60 and rich)

Comics continue to be like almost all other forms of media, 90% crap, 9% pretty good, 1% great.

You can transfer from older games through Pokemon bank. Charizard isn’t on there because there will be a delay between the release of this game and Pokebank being updated to support it, I guess to encourage using the new pokemon in the first season of online battles.

Seriously. If you buy a Bethesda game before the customers have had a chance to QA test it, you should know what you’re getting into.

I wasn’t aware of that restriction. Do you happen to know the logic behind banning candidate promoting items? Is it just a fear that seeing a lot of shirts for candidate A will influence people’s votes and cause them not to vote for B? I would hope most people have made their mind up before getting to their polling

Is the Case West epilouge DLC for DR 2 canon? Frank’s infected in that. I know Off the Record is non-canon, but I thought Case West was still canon.
