If Majora’s Mask is considered a mainline Zelda game, then so should be Link’s Awakening. No excuse for it to not be on this list.

Yeah, I’m kinda wishing I hadn’t clicked on this post. I’m already abusing the duplication glitch (been avoiding installing the latest patch), and this looks like it’s going to be fun for an hour and then drive any challenge out of the rest of the game. (Maybe it’s just my personality, but it’s hard for me to ignore

Sounds like maybe you should buy them a non-alcoholic beverage

I dunno, there’s something to be said for the showrunners just accepting and leaning into how bad their show was, and instead giving you a finale from a much better one

Okay, I’m not going to actually defend the GoT final season or the whiff of a finale, because that would be insane. But I will give the finale some credit for its final moments, in its montage of the Snow kids. If you treat the entire series as having been a story about this one family, and how they were cast into

He’s gonna go to Alaska to be a lumberjack

I don’t want interesting from Seinfeld. I want funny. And it was not.

The guy is extremely talented at a few things, and maybe by virtue of creating his own opportunities has managed to make himself into a celebrity, which has since paved the way for him to do things that he’s excited about but maybe less talented at and/or qualified for. (I think a lot about the clip that I suddenly

I thought I might want to go for this, but the mere fact that it’s breakable and unique means I’m never going to use it, so I’m not going to bother getting it.

I don’t remember fast travel in BotW being at all tedious. Shrines and towers were all over the place... and besides, half the fun in that game is getting to where you’re going.

Now playing

For we gamers of a Certain Age (tm), I think nothing beats King Dodongo in Ocarina of Time. Back when 3D was still in its infancy, you jump down into this deep chasm and turn around uneasily, as the perspective swerves to this beast’s POV and Link suddenly just looks tiny. Then it comes back to Link and this giant mons

Excuse my city-mouse ignorance, but do places like Barry’s house exist? What looks like a completely modern factory home plunked in the middle of nowhere, not even a farm or anything, just miles of flat emptiness... what market do homes like that serve? How does even get utility coverage there? I expect he could have

“This week, on a very special Ted Lasso...”

How is this a good idea.

Yeah, it’s great to see them taking risks and combining multiple ideas and committing to the bit. Even though I wouldn’t say these kinds of sketches hit even half the time for me, at least I’m never bored by them, which is where a lot of the more traditional sketches end up landing, especially after minute 5 or so of

Every Manadalorian location be like

I enjoy the characters and the individual moments (Ted fluttering his eyelids at Roy was priceless), but this episode felt super formulaic. The moment Hannah got up to talk to Zava it was super clear how it was going to go, and the idea that she could completely win him over with just 10 seconds of angrily unloading

This is the only discourse around the finale that I’ve been able to handle

I don’t think it needed two full seasons, maybe 12 episodes instead of 9 to flesh out a bit more of their journey
