Having only read the headline thhus far, all I can say is:

I think it boils down to probability. There are many high horsepower, rear-wheel drive vehicles offered in the marketplace that are easy to lose control of. However, only a few sell in such high numbers as the Mustang.

In your analogy (unlike mine), the pedestrian ran afoul of the rules. Sproles did no such thing.

I’ll grant you that Sproles has a small strike zone. But yes, Everett went high. On that play Sproles is by definition a defenseless player. It is illegal to hit a defenseless player in the head with a helmet or shoulder. That is clearly what happened here.

He went high, he didn’t time it perfectly, and he threatened the health of a player.

This kind of hit can ruin a career, or turn a player into a vegetable. If Sproles had touched the ball, maybe you would have a point. But since he couldn’t, go fuck yourself.

Uh Raph, Atlanta gets about 50 inches of rain per year. That’s definitely higher than the national average. When it rains traffic certainly gets slower, but drivers in that region are pretty familiar with it. Snow on the other hand...

If it is truly running well, this is a NP all day. For $2000 you get basic tranportation, a ton of room, towing capabilities, plus the novelty of the keyhole in the console. Hello winter beater.

I think this is correct. When I sold cars we sometimes had to attach the magnetized dealer plates in weird spots for test drives due to a lack of metal where the plate would normally go.

You have done a good deed, sir. Fuck these filthy rich shithead hypocrites.

Have a star, friend.

The first sentence of your comment is a significant generalization. I think if you qualified it a fair bit that would help. There are individuals on the left that you may disagree with, but you are painting with an extremely broad brush.

I had a gig 12 years ago selling new and used cars. 90% of the training was sales techniques to maximize revenues, 9% was your standard HR orientation, and 1% covered job safety (including test drives). The flippant attitude about taking out a car was amazing. Unless the customer was college-aged, or someone wanted to

Now that was entertaining.

Okay, I’m ready.

Now playing

Very well said, I totally agree that this franchise seems cursed sometimes. But it doesn’t always go that way for the Falcons. Counterpoint:

Great piece! This is the funniest line I have read all week:

I don’t think that Spain’s rate of smoking is connected to it’s healthcare system. Canada has national healthcare and their smoking rates are about the same as the U.S.

So you’re essentially saying: ‘Don’t correct massively incorrect statements by a public figure because people should already know the truth. And if they don’t, fuck em.’

“Timeout, Indiana!”
