I’m not a fan of Harris either (that’s an understatement actually), but I don’t share your sympathy for her.  This is her biggest weakness, and she is too smart not to have seen this coming.  I can only attribute it to hubris that she thought she didn’t have to prepare for and didn’t need to answer for it.
