I’m an adjuster and am handling a claim involving a 98 Saturn. It’s been in storage since the accident last week... Needless to say, the storage costs exceed the car value, so they can keep it as far as I am concerned.

When a ‘90s Malibu needs new tires, I’m pretty sure it’s considered totaled.

Read reviews of people either driving the same car, or driving in a similar manner as you’d use them for. Want to hypermile? Go on prius or mileage junkie forums. Want to autocross or track day bro? SCCA boards are where to go. And sometimes just perusing the reviews of tires on tire rack with your own car can help

There are people who remember the 400E/E420/540i/A6 4.2 where if you wanted the V8, that didn’t mean automatically getting the awful Sport Packages that the higher powered options are now saddled with.

“I have an M5*cough*...fiftyi*cough*

He better be dropping acid daily.  I don’t want squares running automobile companies.

This is a ridiculous accusation, and yet entirely believable! I’m 100% here for it.

So what, now cars are supposed to be waterproof too??? You people are just a bunch of haters.

Come on guys, aren’t your expectations a little high for a $45k car?

If i were buying a Tesla, i would opt for the All-Weather package, unlike these two cheapskates.

Still pushing your short position, I see.

I mean, I heard the panel gaps were pretty big on the 3, but this is ridiculous.

Now you can be LITERALLY underwater on your FCA-mobile’s loan!

One thing that bugs me about this story is that the version of this car in the movie didn’t have the triangular vent window. IIRC, the windshield and doors of this replica came off of a Fiat 124/2000 Spider. The original Ferrari didn’t have those vent windows I don’t believe, so I prefer the look in the movie without

I’ve been sitting on this image all weekend waiting for this.

Yeah... I totally believe that mileage...

“So if you’re going to pull a random rant about a dead guy remotely related to cars who used to date underage girls...”

Say what you will about atomic age architecture, but it was far more interesting and adventurous than the faux Villa/Chateau that has been festering for the last 20 years. Market, post office, Shopping center, Condos, Mc Mansion tracts all the same stucco covered styrofoam accents all in Brown, Beige, or Taupe.

Mmmmmm....Sloane Peterson.
