I told you I'm no guitarist so I didn't realize they already made a guitar with that shape. It's still ugly compared to the Les Paul or the Explorer. Especially compared to the Fender Strat, which is my favorite guitar-shape.

I'm not a guitarist, but I know enough to say that the body looks like someone melted a Gibson Explorer and then had it painted by those assholes from Pimp My Ride.

This image is a single frame, and by stopping down the aperture and making the exposure longer, the light that reaches the sensor is minimized, therefore, not overexposed and white. Most any camera can do this, although to get decent results requires a tripod, or at least a monopod, to minimize camera shake.

Duly noted...just looked to see that the microbe actually substitutes arsenic for phosphorus. Still, the implication that life must follow a certain pattern that we have already recognized is not an absolute. Thanks for the correction.

Yeah, electrons and all, I know. My comment was pointed toward those who may stray onto this article with a true interest in this vehicle, as they may be dumb enough to fall for it.

My son had been engaged in an ongoing "feud" with his 8th grade science teacher a few years ago on this very subject after the teacher proclaimed carbon as "absolutely essential" as the building block of life. My son came in with a printout the day after it was discovered that there were microbes living near steam

I've always liked the look of the current-gen Accord Coupe, and I like the look of this model. Except for the fog light surrounds and tailpipe surrounds, which are way too big and garish and chrome-y. Yikes! Otherwise, yeah, I'm not afraid to say I like it. (cowers as he prepares for onslaught from Honda haters)

Might be worth the asking price simply for the Ferrari Enzo taillights...lot cheaper than OEM! NP.

No way I take that bet, because I believe you have it exactly right. 3D operation of your computer, especially desktops, is right around the corner...hell, I'm sure it can be done, at least rudimentarily, right now with the Kinect interface. If you squint hard enough you can almost see your mouse disappearing in

Tim Cook looks like Steve Doocy's doppelganger in this picture.

Holy shit. Thanks, dude. You have, indeed, chosen the real winner.

See, there's the problem. It's not a "speaker-grille grille", it's a filter for the electricity you pour into the front of it, you know, to keep the electric motor from getting a build-up of those nasty, stray electrons.

Note to construction workers out there: If your new foreman pulls up on the job site in one of these, time to look for a new job.

Crack pipe. At that price, I'll take the real Ferrari, thank you.

Speaking of pico projectors, I bought an AAXA Pico Jr. for my daughter for Christmas for about $100. I bought it on a lark, and am amazed at how really nice the picture is despite its cost and size. And it has an SD card slot so can operate as a standalone product. Yeah, this 4K projector is in a different galaxy,

Easy. The point-and-shoot manufacturers need to highlight the fact that image sensor size, not just the number of pixels ("I want the more MP's!"), goes a long way in determining image quality. That, and the fact that optical zoom is the way to capture images at a distance, not some lousy digital zoom on a

On a separate note, Dacker, are you from the Syracuse area? I grew up in Elmira, NY and played hockey quite a bit in the Syracuse area. Went to plenty of concerts in the Carrier Dome while in HS.

Pentium 3? No way! Perhaps a couple of Intel 8088's...with a math coprocessor, of course. JK...it really is amazing what NASA was able to accomplish with the technology available in the 60's thru the 80's. Again, my Dad tried to explain in-flight and weapons-guidance navigation to me as a kid (his other "project"

In 1976, I was a 10 year old kid living in the desert in California, my father having been transferred there in IBM's Federal Systems Division to work on a program at Edwards Air Force Base. Having obtained a security clearance for me, he took me to a hangar and showed me a Shuttle being built....awesome doesn't

No way on that price. I'm sure someone will pay that kind of money for it, just so that they, too, can let it slowly rot in their collection. Nope...for that kind of money, I'd want to drive it. On a real street. Whenever I want. CP
