Trevor makes you not want to play? What a weird take. Thst game was lauded for its script and personally I think it's one of the most entertaining scripts in video games.

The radio shows are awesome, and Trevor is the best character in the game, simply because he is the most annoying.

Counter argument: the radio jokes are awesome. Perhaps the mockery is simply hitting a bit too close to home for your comfort.

You are so incredibly wrong.

Ironically, the first time I ever saw Ricky Gervais was in GTA4, and he was so aggressively unfunny that I thought being unfunny was the joke.

Thats gonna be a no from me, dog.

The problem with GTA V was that their radio station jokes were no longer clever, edgy or anything new (not that they were ever groundbreaking outside of being in a video game but it still gave GTA its unique flavor). I agree GTA V’s radio DJs are the weakest and I was fully tired of the shtick by then, but you’re

sorry to break it to you, but Trevor is the most accurate representation of so cal trash in any media. Trevor reminds me of way too many of the fathers of my childhood peers.

Nope.

Gotta disagree with you there pal

Yeah, no - disagree completely.  The radio stations are wonderful.

Trevor rocks.

Nah.

Just because your not going anywhere doesn’t mean no one is. My state is inundated with people from states like Texas and Florida who have high covid numbers.

Basically since stopping the draft in the 70s, the US armed forces has always used tactics to recruit teenagers without many prospects.

I would say the vast majority of them are joining with no real understanding of what they are signing up for, not from their own perspective, and certainly not from the military’s perspective.

Yeah, I’m not sure it’s a breath away... we’ve been in a quasi-fascist state since at least 9/11.

“You’ll get free college!”

You’re assuming these sort of tactics haven’t always been part of their recruiting efforts.

You don’t think it’s likely that they have a long history of hitting those numbers only by tricking people? To them it’s probably a matter of not changing what is working.
