Because it’s a kids game scene ran by a bunch of troubled teenagers. Same thing would happen in fortnite if they let fans run the scene. Basicly it’s Nintendos hands off approach and no oversight by any adults that allowed this scene to go in the shitter.

The switch should 100% count.. I literally only play it in handheld and would never play it on the TV and I'm 31, honestly if the screens go back to smaller than a switch I would never by another handheld.

I started with a gbc but the gba is hands down the best handheld ever made... A snes in your hands? Yes please. (hell I also had a game gear before the gba but the gba was the greatest.

A tad ingenious to say it's "entirely" different. It's barely different.

The point being Nintendo stole the idea from a fan made game.

Yea I don't get this either, the fan made Mario br came out over a year ago

There's was already a fan made Mario br almost exactly like this and it was amazing.

Yea that's why a physical copy of 3d Allstars is the way to go, it’s going to skyrocket in price once the games unavailable digitally or physically.

Well, you can always emulate games that they refuse to rerelease.

Only an idiot would have ever thought Sony was gonna do this.

Thank you, people don’t seem to understand consoles typically sell for a loss. Making a console is a good way to get extra money but imo its not going to be fruitful much longer, especially with exclusives taking half a decade to make compared to 25 years ago.

I don’t think digital foundry ever greifed GG, they always just refered to it as “the port” and didn’t refer to a company by name iirc. Either way GG didn't handle the port. Ports are almost always contracted out to another studio so the main devs don't have to waste time not making something new.

That still wouldn’t mean it’s not a first party game. You contract out companies to port, it’s not like they are creating the game.

Horizons studio, Guerrilla Games, is 100% owned by Sony, they bought them in 2005.

I would, if streamed games faster than 30fps and at a higher resolution than 720p and didn’t have input lag. I’ll never buy a console but if ps now actually worked good I'd get it on pc.

I looked into ps now to play Spiderman, ps now only streams at 30fps at 720p and there is still noticeable input lag. A very less than ideal way to play any game and I wouldn't put myself through that.

Ps now only plays at 30fps at 720p. Not worth it.

I don’t even wanna know how many total hours I have on steam... I have more than one game with 500+ hours...

In those days though the majority of games released on a nintendo console were exclusive. Now you get 4 maybe 5 switch exclusives a year.
