Only 25 MPH winds? That only looks dangerous if you are not a kitesurfer. I am a kitesurfer. 25 MPH is lit but nothing extreme in the kite world.  Average air even. Perspectives are a funny thing.

yeah- I’ve seen kitesurfing like... 3 or 4 times and that’s not even approaching the heights I’ve seen people do. I was expecting something actually out of control. You win this time, jalopnik headline writers.

Honestly, if he is pro-level, I get the feeling he knows what he’s getting into. Pro surfers go out and catch massive waves and accept the risks in doing so, I’m guessing this guy knows and accepts the risks too. Judging by the nicely stuck landing, he’s not just some idiot.
