We’ve been making a go of it in my MK6 GTI. Wife, 2 year old, and 8 month old. It’s a bit snug when we need to go on a trip with the stroller, etc., but I just can’t justify a bigger car, especially after being carless while living in Chicago.

Ahem...manual, Bronzit, the most beautiful OEM wheels ever, extensive maintenance records? Save the extra money for penicillin, because you’re going to be swimming in all sorts of strange (when the kids aren’t around).
