I'm really glad I wasn't the only one thinking it was a Walkabout homage.

If this didn't have "The Walkng Dead" in the title AMC woulda cut this shit off after the second season, I'm pretty sure there was more interest in Feed the Beast at this point.

For some reason, I assumed that was Holy Wayne.

I kinda like the overall look and mood of it, kinda feels like a teen indie movie (the cinematography is quite striking, very DSLR hand-held kinda vibe) , probably won't be for everyone but it's definitely a different genre that I'm surprised and interested in Marvel taking on.

If having near universal acclaim (A FUCKING 98 ON METACRITIC) doesn't get this show some emmy's I'm going to cry.

How has Justin Theroux slipped me by all this years? The dude somehow writes movies with Ben Stiller but gets to star in David Lynch movies Mullholland Drive and Inland Empire and manages to be the lead role in an a weird Damon Lindeloff show. What a bizzare career trajectory
10/10 butt tho
(Also he's really fucking

I think Refn's developing his next film with Gosling in the main role.

Well I mean, I enjoyed The Neon Demon way more than Mallick's last two films combined.

The best episode of Season 2 was Church in Ruins directed by Miguel Sapochnink (Battle of the Bastards and Hardhome) it was the best directed episode of the season, with Rachel McAdam's character infiltrating an orgy, getting drugged and trying to escape the orgy in a hallucinogenic daze which was kind of horrific and

I really wish there was something that could fill the Banshee shaped hole in my heart this year.
Also Lucas Hood has such a great character arc, I love his "I'M NOT LUCAS HOOD" scene

I mean, the serial killer stuff kinda sucked but that "I'M NOT LUCAS HOOD" scene is one of my favourite scenes in that show.

I feel like Iron Fist just doesn't work in the same vein of the other netflix marvel shows (I'm enjoying the latter episodes a lot) cause it's attempting to be gritty and grounded like Daredevil and Jessica Jones and have this complex character arc where this character spirals into addiction whilst having really goofy

Goddamn Episode 10 was a whole lot of fun and had a lot of stuff I'd want out of an Iron Fist show.

Bout to start episode 10, will report back if it is indeed a bunch of fun.

"Dad always said, there's only one way a dog fight ends" I know he didn't say that line but one of my favorite scenes from that show.

Oh my God I had completely forgot about the painting of Michael C Hall, that was a show that was actually on Showtime.

I feel like this show's completely stalling compared to Daredevil in terms of fight scenes, I don't even think they're that bad but it feels like they're way too slow and the action comes off as so easily choreographed, the lack of mask is definitely killing them. It didn't even have to go full costume it just would

Tried harder than Scott Buck on the last season of Dexter

There's a scene in episode 4 or 5, where he's speaking to Joy and he asks her if she's ever considered leaving, the look on his face completely sold it for me and I thought it was a surprisingly poignant moment in the way he delivered it. Always loved him in Banshee as well and the later episodes of this have really

The image of her crying over the M&M's on the table was just hilarious to me. I don't even think it's that bad a show it has good parts but man Scott Buck is something else entirely.
