They should be making Titanfall 3!!

So what?

Nice! This is all I ever play in this game. The vehicles add a lot,I think.

Angels Venture has been liberated this morning soldiers! The BATTLE IS WON BUT NOT THE WAR, KEEP FIGHTING!!!!

They shouldn’t replace it though. Putting a disclaiming and saying this game came out at a different time when this was okay is a perfectly fine thing to do. Loads of other media do it, from books to movies and it helps paint a very clear picture of the context of the world when it came out and the over all cultural

I’m sure we’d all be a lot happier if it was a bunch of walkie talkies chasing Lara around through the South Pacific and shooting darts at her.

Now playing

What? The System Shock Remaster was a massively impressive undertaking. Unless you’re talking about System Shock Classic?

let’s not mince words here—given Crystal Dynamics spent 2013 through 2018 making some of the most white-savior-promoting games in modern history

you spill an awful lot of text about the supposedly offensive material, but don’t mention what it is. not even broad contours. would be helpful context to help us decide how offensive it is.

I think alterations to the original material is a “dammed if you do dammed if you don’t” situation. Thinking from that perspective, it seems logical to not allocate resources to change these. Also, we don’t see Hollywood making any of these types of changes to their re-releases. Not sure if this deep a criticism is

I don’t know about most folks, but very few of the games I play address ideas even related to gender identity or sexuality, because they just don’t matter for what the point of the game is.

So what you’re saying is that context is key, and absent context, you’re just spitting numbers out that have no meaning?

we found that games with LGBTQ characters or storylines account for less than 2% of all games”

Have to admit. This all edited into a 10 hour video makes it seem much better than it is.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has so many different faces, which makes me ready for a personality test. One moment I’m enjoying Rocksteady’s art design, the next I want to hurt myself because of the excruciating gameplay. Then laugh at the voice acting, and then get angry about the boring boss fights. The

Boring, repetitive missions is one of the most ironic pitfalls of a comic book game. Like they could have put all the effort they put into making the game an endless live service game with too many skins into mission design and scripting, and they probably would have walked away from this as winners.

Kotaku has to buy games at launch like everyone else and rush to get a review out 4 days later than other publications lol.

Fraudulent game review site clearly getting paid to play devil’s advocate for a fraudulently shit game. Can’t wait to see this turd sink like Jezebel, but at this rate I won’t be waiting long.

“You need to play for months and months to truly finish your mission. Get ready to play even more of the same shit over and over again, too.”

I’m fine with this. In fact, I would love to see more rpgs explore relationships that are not romantic.
