The problem is that VW had printed material telling people to say Tour-Egg. I didn't start pronouncing it correctly until I found out about that funky music the Tuareg folks make.

I think it is technically Im-pret-zah, similar to how the video game is pronounced Fort-zah by Turn10. I still feel like a jackass when I say Im-pret-zah, though.

I always wondered if the Nissan affinity for 23 and 46 on race cars was because of the Ni, San pun in their name.

I know Hyundai owners who call it Honday.

"...a front clip doesn't necessarily need to be overdone to be distinctive and/or aggressive..."

People bought a lot of the Hyundais that Chris Bangle apparently took inspiration from, also. Lots of people like Amorpheous Jelly Beans, and when you throw a bunch of random creases at that, it looks "Edgy" to some folks. I liked BMW, because previously they could be relied upon to make boxes beautiful. I don't

I see what you did there.

Even though the only Scoob I have had is the ugly as sin "Stinkeye" 08+, I love the way the GCs look.

It is hideous, with its Son of Bangle "Lets toss wrinkles in haphazardly" style. Mazdas are more so. It does however look better in person, especially that rear quarter panel. I just spent the last two years driving a flame surfaced car that I hated the looks of, so this Elantra offends me less and less every day.

Except that Fits aren't comfy and this, while ugly, is.

I would love that.

The whole point was that they were brought over here, in part because of a demand partially created by Gran Turismo. Loads of folks did not know about these cars prior to that game. I remember "Skyline" being some mythical car that the car mags would say should be here, but knew little else about it until I went to

What crack are you on? We did not get the WRX and Evo until the '00s. GT3 was out by the time the WRX and Evo came here. The base model for the WRX, (The Impreza) did not even exist in '92.

I wish the Forza folks would put unbadged Porsches in the game as a big ole FU to EA and Porsche.

That's a joke, right?

Yes, it would.

A wonderful shop.

I did not know that. I like Jensen even more now.

Nice try, but Gook is mistakenly used for the Vietnamese, by my logic it would be merely okay to call them Viets. Gook, BTW comes from the Korean word for Korea, which is Hankook or Hangook. Calling someone from Korea a Gook is not much different than tolerating a tire company called Hankook. I don't see any K in

I'd hit that.
