Selena’s appearance has always reminded me a little of Christie Brinkley, who “was known for having a round, fat, baby face atop a womanly body.” (Christie’s self-description on a Howard Stern interview).

I think she’s has potential but her heart doesn’t seem to be in it,sometimes when it is (The heart wants what the heart wants for example), it really shines through. I also like Miley Cyrus when she’s doing covers of country Ballads, she’s someone that I hope finds her own sound bc she said wasting that voice on some…
I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it.
It really seems like a set up relationship and not a real relationship and she is acting way more into him than he is for her.
Is it weird that I worry about Selena as much as I do, this Weeknd business has me thinking she’s in for another heartbreak. Also, the video won’t play : (.
12 hours a day at a factory. They do that at Enterprise Rent a Car. These are people with college degrees. Teachers are putting in 10 a day and then driving for UBER. They may have a goddamn masters degree and are putting in those hours and more.
Yep. It is frustrating that it seems like, at least for those within my circle, the Hillary supporters (myself included) are willing to admit to the mistakes made whereas the Bernie supporters can’t stop saying “Told ya!” (even though they were wrong).
We keep trying to be polite, but people just aren’t getting the message. Somebody needs to just come out and say “You guys are getting buttfucked. I know you think Trump is a cool guy, and I’m sure you’ve had a few quality laughs at his rants. Good times. Anyway, he’s a con man and you aren’t his friend. You’re his…
Ellison has said he would resign his seat in Congress if chosen
Both Tom Perez and Keith Ellison are excellent choices. Either one will be an advocate for progressive causes. I would pick Perez only because I would rather the DNC chair not be an active member of congress and have to be worried about his or her own seat, but Ellison’s great as well.
The weirderst thing i can identify on both is that they seem to talk in loops. Like they know they can’t be very coherent for long, so they make short statements. Because sometimes they know they’re slipping. My dad had these lapses of sanity during the mid-late stages of his “spiral”. I think deep down he didn’t want…
Always good to remind them that he raised taxes and granted amnesty to illegal immigrants.
That I attribute more to his background in business. (And before I go on, I don’t know if it’s typical for a president to read an executive order in its entirety before signing or not.) I’m a corporate lawyer - when we are preparing to close a deal, we put together a bunch of break-away signature pages and send them…
Everyone in America has to worship with the Cult of Reagan. It’s insane. He was an objectively terrible and mentally incompetent president, and yet even Democrats HAVE to genuflect every single time they mention his name. It’s just one more example of the way we’ve ceded reality to the Republicans. They say Reagan was…
I’ve always found ridiculous and hypocritical that Republicans consider themselves to be the most patriotic yet hold someone who basically committed treason and violated the law of the land to be the best president of this lifetime.
I’m not the first to put this theory forwad, but my Aussie friend told me the consensus in Australia is that Trump wasn’t paying attention for the briefing prior to his call with Turnbull, so when an aide handed him the phone and said, “here’s PM Turnbull of the Australian Liberal Party” Trump just assumed Turnbull…
I know this is anecdotal, but i saw dementia upclose with my father.
Dad had always been a cool guy, he didn’t blow up when he was angry, he was always a very tolerant person, he had varied tastes in music, film and TV. He had his consumption fetiches (he likes horses, cars and stuff like that) but he was also smart…
This whole page won’t load for me for some reason, but how about how he didn’t realize he permanently appointed Bannon to the NSC? “Oh, well...I don’t know. It all happened very fast, and then the man looked like he was nice, so I bought the timeshare and then...oh my...”
“I told the American people I did not trade arms for hostages. My heart and my best intentions still tell me that’s true, but the facts and the evidence tell me it is not.”
There were stories of Reagan, relating anecdotes on the campaign trail, of his horror at seeing the prisoners at the liberation of Dachau (he spent the war in Hollywood)...as well as other events that were in movies he starred in as actually having happened.
