As an adult, it wasn’t really a personal issue. It was more the idea that a lot of parents watch Conan’s show, and these skits seem like they could actually be really detrimental to an uninformed parent’s outlook on what games are, and could lead to some kids being restricted from their hobbies because the funny man

Conan himself has a nasty habit of leaning on the idea that gaming is stupid, and a waste of time for a lot of his jokes in the sketches. The entire FFXV skit seemed purpose built to make the game seem as aimless and devoid of purpose as possible.

What? Fujoshi overreacting? Liberals screaming without doing their research? Impossible.

I already did, though?

What part of ALL filler didn’t you get? You provided literally no worthwhile arguments to reply to, so I didn’t HAVE anything to reply to. Our chat log itself is my evidence.

Because. Your paragraph. Had nothing of substance. To comment on.

I still know a hell of a lot more than you do, though. Fear of elaboration is the mark of a cowardly debater. Either respond properly, or don’t respond at all.

All of those ‘Paraphrasing’ bits were me inviting you to elaborate on your baseless statements. The fact that you refused to do so, and simply accused me of ‘mocking’ your points, shows that you had nothing to back up the things you said. I read everything you typed, and it was all hyperbolic conjecture with no real

People who can shut your arguments down are a waste of time? Cute.

AAAAAAND WE HAVE NAMECALLING.

If you’re gonna actually try and sit there and tell me the women on Keijo are sex objects, and the women in fucking GURREN LAGANN are somehow better represented, then I think I’m actually going to die of laughter.

Nice assumption of my gender there, bud. Proud lesbian here.

And how, pray tell, is it a problem? What’s wrong with a silly show about boobs being just that? Or, even more importantly, how can you call yourself a fan of ‘Keijo!!!!!!!!’ and actually believe that there characters are valued as nothing more than their bodies? The characters are fun, developed, and diverse in their

I can assure you that those articles justify this person’s trepidation

Just gonna point out that busting such a massive fucking nut over this (admittedly pretty obvious) revelation isn’t helping to normalize LGBT characters in fiction AT ALL. Once we start acting like this is a normal thing, I think y’all will begin to realize that it kinda already is.

Vox? Spreading false information?? What?????

You can present conflicting viewpoints without contradicting yourself over your view on them, my guy. She claims to be a steadfast progenitor of two incompatible views. You can’t claim to be fine with something while also claiming to find it completely reprehensible. That is what’s happening in this article.

And if you had chosen to read the whole thing, you’d realize just how self-contradictory the whole thing is. One minute she’s claiming to be fine with fanservice in certain contexts, and then goes on to condemn shows that use it in those exact contexts. This entire article almost feels like the author is having an
