Reaper had humor but it was also kinda dark. The reason the main character at the start of the show ended up working for the Devil(played by Ray Wise) is because his parents had sold his soul.

For me it was the opposite. I felt the first season was basic teen drama with some minor sci-fi trappings. The second season when they got more in the mythology of the show was a lot more interesting.

When I used to read recaps of the show on Television Without Pity, they always referred to Lionel as the Magnificent Bastard because, well, he was.

They released a bunch of songs for free in 2001 in an album called Judas 0. At the time I still had dialup so downloading a 16 song album of 320kbps MP3 files was a big deal. I gave up after downloading the first 9 songs. The 10th song was "Waiting" which I didn't hear until almost a decade later.

That's why I have never bought a Nirvana album. Just turn on the local alternative station and wait 10 minutes.
