There's a similar bit in Leisure Larry 3, where you have to fit a soda cup the size of a garbage can in your pocket, and the narrator just says that you remember that you're just a character in a video game and it just magically fits inside your jacket pocket.

There's the scene in Wayne's World where they end up talking to a security guy played by Chris Farley, who gives them a detailed explanation of a big music exec's iternary. Wayne then remarks, "He seemed really knowledgeable for a security guard"
