Was about to post the same thing - the hands in the pockets really make it.

I love that video. It’s a must watch for any RE fan.

Absolutely - I can still remember watching the footage thanks to a free VHS tape (!) that I got from a Gamecube magazine and thinking it looked incredible. Hell, even now it looks superb.

The guy’s a troll - don’t feel bad for being suckered into his lies - I’m fairly certain he wanted someone to react in that way and ergo get a stern telling off (although I think Jason’s reply should have been to the OP and not you).

In a pretty lacklustre e3 showing for Nintendo, this was the bright spark. I watched so much of their live Treehouse demonstrations. Cannot wait for this to be released.

Eh? Then what’s this all about then?

What’s particularly great about it is: the goon is clearly already falling over. Batman shoots him in the bollocks because why not?

Oh, if they get it right I’ve got no problem. Perhaps I should have said “possibly” rather than “probably”. Perhaps a control scheme close to the original ‘ghost’ RE4 prototype could work (where the camera shifted to over the shoulder in aiming mode, but would be more fixed/cinematic in general movement).

Code Veronica is slightly different as it was intended to be RE3, but due to a contractual agreement with Sony (to produce a third numbered sequel on Playstation), Nemesis became the third game in the series, while Code Veronica became, well, Code Veronica. Nemesis was originally intended to be a side story away from

Totally - RE:R was a great game and surprisingly scary (I’ve only played it on the 3DS).

It’s ironic that despite how good RE4 is (and it is really, really good) the warning signs were there. It starts off very tense and scary and - by the time you get to the militia stronghold - becomes much more of a twitch action shooter, especially when the minigunners are introduced.

Hm. They don’t feel it though. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed both of them (RE:R1 more than the second), but I consider them side stories or spin-off’s (despite the cast of characters) than main series entries.

Eh, to an extent - as far as my memory serves, that was an easter egg in the DLC and it was far from perfect.

A Batarang fired from a gun right into that poor goon’s crotch. This is a new Batman.

Mine are extortionate, so get your wallet ready.

Totally - I have to admit, after playing through the HD remaster of Resident Evil (and soon to be playing through Zero when it is released), I’d quite like the RE2 remake to retain the fixed camera angles. Even though that would (probably) mean going back to the three degrees of aiming (feet, torso, head) it just

I’m swinging to CAUTIOUS OPTIMISM on this. I mean, RE2 is my favourite Resi game and I’ve always wanted a remake in the same vein as the Gamecube REmake in 2002. However, the last (main series) game was Resident Evil 6 and it was fucking atrocious.

This is the single greatest thing.

“It’s almost... hypnotic”

It’s no worries - I just couldn’t wrap my head around it! (next time I’ll quote the last paragraph)
