She does face stiff competition around here.
First, congrats on your engagement! Second, are you stopping in the Boston area? I’m the 5-speed Jag XJR guy who responded to your F-Type post on Twitter and would be happy to let you try it out.
“... where I attempted to find Sasquatches mating for a book of erotic Sasquatch photographs I’ve been planning for decades.”
I love the 850i (even if my modern aesthetic sensibilities make me want slightly larger wheel arches/wheels and slightly more aggressive fender flares).
I’d wager it’s been bottomed out, hard, underneath, several times. Went to look at an Audi S6 that in many ways a bit samey to how this car looks, including a crappy aftermarket stereo. Took it too a mechanic, the sled (plastic skid under the engine) was missing excepting plastic shards sticking out still screwed in…
Came here to say this as well; bro rims means bro driver, who probably bought it thinking it was a cheap way to get himself into a V-12 Bimmer, then is trying to jump ship when he's finding it tough to keep up with the maintenance costs/issues, and thinks he can oversell it to some other schmuck. Way too expensive for…
You sir should be slapped with said “wing”. Marring up one of the most timeless BMW designs? Who are you, Willy Koenig?
It’s nice, but they need to raise it back up to factory height and get rid of those dumb fucking wheels. Talk about completely and utterly ruining the look of a car (and this one, in its stock stance, is one of the best BMW has made IMO).
It’s weird math, a bit like how calculus has symbols for numbers and that’s suppose to somehow make sense, but adds up.
You’re right to. If someone puts the brah rims on a car like this, they’re brah driving it, as in, like a toolbag minus any actual tools. CP.
C to the P.... Hell no... your basically hoping to god that someone who put small yet questionable modifications on his crazy rare, crazy complicated BMW, also maintained it and didnt abuse it...
Photo #1 shows owner’s perfect grasp of BMW parking procedure.
Compared to just scrapping the cars for recycling? Even at reduced performance, they'll fetch a much higher price.
Seems counterintuitive to the "damage to the environment" ethos to render up to half a million vehicles inoperable, or otherwise destroy them, as part of the recall.
right!?
Automatic lights fixes all of these. Honestly the gadgets on modern cars are awesome. Lights that come on automatically when it’s dark, wipers that wipe automatically when it rains, brakes that brake automatically when you’re about to crash. All the car really needs is someone to point it in a direction.
