True that. Brosnan is a great actor (see some of his other movies) but aside from the classic Goldeneye (bolstered by the best video game FPS ever), the writing was horrible. You can’t fault Brosnan for the horribly cheesy lines and the over the top ridiculous plots.

Conversely, a lot of people like Daniel Craig, but I

I know I hooned my V6 Malibu back in high school...

I would too because I could pull it out and replace it with something more modern every decade or so. Now those “infotainment” systems are connected to the core functions of the car and so built in they will never be able to be replaced or upgraded. So imagine having that shitty old system and being stuck with it,

In “Iceland” of all places too. Hollywood geography?

It’s generally a rough transition when it’s in the high 30s in the morning and into the 60s in the afternoon. I generally sided on the keep the winter tires on longer is the safer option. But now I live in Atlanta and know that if there is even a forecast of snow, work will close anyhow so I just have summer tires!

You’re a web developer that says “VIN NUMBER”?!?!?

I am aware of this and avoid reading the COTD posts at work...

Youtube is blocked at work. I can only wonder what this video is about that fits these comments...

Not being able to use it plugged in if the battery dies is a deal breaker for me. I love the idea of the portable vac, but if the reviews of 5 mins or less battery life and waiting a day to recharge are true, I’ll get a small shop vac instead.

Exactly. A controversial decision usually results from one or the other branch trying to grab too much power which causes lawsuits.

Brought to you by the advertising geniuses that decided a great way to sell a car was to show people not being able to find it in a parking lot. *COUGH*BUICK*COUGH*HACK*

If we are offering filming opportunities, you can come home to Atlanta (now that I live here) and I’ll film you out of the back of my Focus ST in some of the mountains nearby... But with the tailgate up because I don’t have one of those fancy ST camera cars like they do in Europe. Maybe it might be better to use the

So the Google car is an Atlanta driver?

How many people do you know that took their driver’s test in the snow?

The driver’s test is a joke. If you can navigate through an empty residential neighborhood in a rural town on a sunny day and get better than 70% of the laws correct, congratulations! Have fun in Chicago rush hour traffic!

Right, autonomous vehicles don’t have to be perfect. They just have to be better than the average human driver, which from what I’ve seen is a pretty low bar. So they don’t work so well in inclement weather? That’s already true of the general public’s driving... As long as the AI recognizes when it cannot safely

Since it’s not going to ever be street legal, why wait 25 years?

I live in Atlanta and even with yearly emissions testing requirements, tons of people do stupid crap to revert or cheat the tests to pass. And it’s on brand new cars that they can get away without having to cheat for the first 3 years.

Disagree. Give me a MazdaSpeed 6 wagon instead. Who would buy a Focus RS if a Speed 6 wagon exists?

How about automatic headlights?

I think this adage came about from FWD front engine cars before ABS. Braking the front wheels only with all the weight on the front could help the car slow down without risking the back tires locking up keeping the car pointed in the right direction.

On the whole I agree with you. Brakes are the better thing to use.
