I think claiming that someone whose child was murdered in fact never had a child and is participating in a cover up could be considered damaging to that person’s reputation. I’m a Canadian, in Ecuador at the moment, and they use US currency here exclusively. Since things are cheap there’s lots of these one dollar coins around. I was looking at mine in fascination, never seen a $1 US coin before. Now I just learned what they’re called. Fascinating.

Putting someone in prison for any length of time over a $300/month “fraud” is absurd. The possibility that it could be over a decade is monstrous. Such harsh penalties for people on government assistance, while for example military contractors who defraud the government for many millions never see a prison cell.
