You obviously do not live in the area or you have a heck of a lot of money to buy a home. Close to the DC-Metro area single family homes are selling for just under 1 million dollars to much, much more. An hour or more outside of the DC-Metro area the same homes go for $250,000.00.

Yep. No joke. The I-495 beltway traffic is horrendous especially when attempting to cross from MD to VA and back. There are only two bridges across the Potomac river outside of Washington DC. I used to commute from Montgomery County MD to Fairfax VA for work, 24 miles and on a good day it ONLY took 45 minutes to 1…
