It takes more than 4 days for southeast asian shrimp to get to red lobster's distribution centers, let alone it's restaurants 

I worked in a seacoast restaurant, all of our shrimp came frozen in blocks of 5lbs, this is standard sisco food service. Each night we would try to guess how many cajun shrimp and blackened shrimp ceasers we’d sell and defrost the appropriate number of shrimp.

Even then I’d be hesitant about eating seafood from the south china sea. There’s pretty much open dumping of industrial and other waste and with shrimp being bottom feeders you’re bound to get some heavy metals in them, it’s not as bad as tuna and swordfish due to the shorter life cycle but still. 

Thailand and Taiwan are both considered high risk for slave labor according to the Monterey Bay Aquarium seafood watch program.  

it’s the heavy metals in the sea of China, you’re eating bottom feeders so it gets nicely concentrated. 

Thai Union, a producer linked to slave labor just dumped $575 million into red lobster to have a direct to consumer pipeline, so it is more like it is going into hyperdrive. They got caught once, you can bet that they have locked down the supply chain so that they don’t get caught again.

Well, considering they are well known for serving seafood harvested by slave labor I don't think cleanliness is tops on their list
