Liverwurst won’t be a hipsters day dream any time soon.. and I’m ok with that. I like it the way it is before they start shoving bacon and avocado up its.. liver. I will admit.. I do love me some braunschweiger with mayo and a spicy mustard.. that is a lunch day dream right there.

That just means you have taste buds, its nothing abnormal.

I’m more of lager, pilsner, but I think some of my favorites have been wiezenbier.. though.. that is an import almost any way you look at it.. and can raise the risk of getting a skunky one.

Can’t do IPA.. They just taste bad.. Period.. I am way too old to worry about what is hip or to just drink things for the fact that it contains alcohol. I drink because it tastes good. IPA’s do not fall into this catagory.. Nor does Guinness. Yes. I went there.

I have allergies.. Admitting mild, but eating any seafood (and egg that is in a decent large amount) makes me very sick. Not life threatening sick, but enough that the next few days will not be pleasant. The only people I hold responsible for my food allergies are restaurant wait staff that I have informed of said…

Right there with you. I’m not as bad off as you are, my allergy is mild, but where I live they seem to put shrimp everywhere... without telling you they are putting it there. Nothing worse then getting sick because shrimp was on your plate and you didn’t know it until its too late.

That can be very challenging at some restaurants, especially if you are near a beach or the gulf coast. I had a crown and coke served with a shrimp on the glass at a beach restaurant once, which blew me away. It seems to be a big trend in Japanese and Mexican places in my area for some reason, some times unadvertised…

As a person that has had my orders incorrect due to wait staff not making notes, or making wrong notes. I can say that yes.. I do worry when you don’t take anything down because I don’t want to have to go through the loops to get what I ordered the first time and be that guy sitting there waiting while everyone else…

If they offer good service and a good product, I will be there. If they don’t I wont. That is my philosophy. I don’t care who owns the business.
