Gotcha.. the Super Charger station by me (off 95) is grid powered, or they have done a heck of a job hiding the panels. :)

Keep in mind, they would theoreticaly have hundreds if not thousands of sites. You very likely will have sites that are producing to much electricity and selling it back into the grid, and some sites that like you say, arent producing enough and must take from the grid.

It’s terrible to do, i’ve had to do it a few times. We generally save anything that has use that we need (End table, chair, etc) and then limit anything else to (1) Tote that we can stack in our basement. Its cold, but we take a lifetime of experience and put it down into a tote that we rarely open.

Nah, it really is the indoor thing. Before I had kids, I was much less likely to get a cold in the winter then I am now. I never wear heavy jackets (or generally jackets at all), and I do go outside a decent amount in the winter.
