Hmm, not really. In Brazil the Uno was launched in 1984 w/ 1.3 and 1.5 engines. There were sporty 1.5R and 1.6R versions, and only in the '90s it got the 999cc engine, dubbed Uno Mille (Mille stands for one thousand).
