This new trailer seems to be riffing on fandom’s misgivings. Most of the negative reactions to The Force Awakens fixate on Abram’s decision to recapture the appeal of Star Wars by skirting the line between a sequel and a remake. Now, in the voiceover, the empire claps back.

Because when you don’t live among racists it is genuinely shocking. I live on a little lily white island of the UK mainland that had a load of grandmas knitting a “Welcome to the Island” banner for the Syrian refugees that were sent over here. And it was great. Also there was cake.

Still can't believe it's only on season 5. There's been so much plot & mythology built into these 4 seasons that I feel like it's already Season 6 or 7 by this point. It's such a brilliant show. I can only hope the streaming & syndication grows the audience & forces CBS to keep the show around for another 3 or more…
