In Britain, the police would’ve been armed with extending batons, possibly tasers, wearing anti-stab vests and trained in de-escalation and non-lethal takedowns. These kinds of stories and accompanying facts are great reasons to stop relegating violence as an incel aberration because it’s something practiced by men regardless of relationship status and sexual activity.

Not surprised by this at all. I was sexually assaulted by two in-uniform, on-duty police officers in Northern California in 1979 and never reported it because of serious threats they made. I’m surprised we don’t hear more about this, but the fear left in the victims is a vicious deterrent.  That was more than 40 years…

Police don’t have true unions, police “unions” aren’t there to represent workers to the company like a real union they only exist to protect cops who commit crimes.

You know, if you die inexplicably or under odd circumstances at work, your union should really be asking questions. And I mean with all the talk about protecting officers, you would really think the police union would be concerned about members dieing on the job.
