I’ve tried this off and on and it’s extremely depressing to realize that even $600 blouses at Nordstrom are made in China. They just have bigger profit margins. And while I’ve heard that there are factories in China (for example) that adhere to fair labor laws, I’m pretty fucking skeptical.

It doesn’t make any sense at all. The likelihood that Social Security will be around by the time GenX/Millenials retire is slim to none, and the very idea of having a pension is a hilarious nonsensical dream.

The Atlanta History Museum shocked me with how borderline inaccurate it is. They take great pains to show that both sides were in the wrong, and that the war one day just magically ended (not that the South lost). It was all very weird.
