I think I learned the word from a book on Monty Python, so there’s an excellent chance I don’t.

Just to say, Black Manta was was one of the coolest and most striking character designs of DC’s 60s Silver Age. The right mix of sci-fi and sinister. The oblong helmet that looked like a UFO, with cables or air tubes out the top.  So cool.

That part had me ROLLING! The anticipation was killing my ass. What the fuck is she going to do at the end of this slow-ass Vaseline preparation routine?

That’s your opinion and everyone is welcome to keep their opinion to themselves when they are unpopular and wrong.

Skimming through these reviews, one starts to get a sense of where the authors are coming from.

By that logic, A Star is Born should be on this list because one of its executive producers once told Kevin Smith to put a giant spider in a Superman movie.

The impotent artsy rage in the comments trying to put RP1 on this list is like a warm bath.

We get it, you’re too cool for school. But if you think RP1 is even in the top 30 worst movies of the year, you need to pull your head out of your ass.

I really want to see prop comic Steely Dan now.

They were offered if you checked the “ablative hubcap” option.

She was on “Suddenly Susan,” not “NewsRadio”. That was Vicki Lewis.

I mean the editors clearly shouldn’t have let this get printed, but the writer is the one that wrote it, not the editors. Speaking of Black writers, I think they do tend to be more cognizan

The thrust of this article is hopelessly flawed. No, not every person fighting for the Germans in WWII was a Nazi. That’s like saying every soldier currently fighting for America is a Republican. The story you’re criticizing draws those lines itself. Almost every assassination attempt against Hitler was carried out by

Battlefield V’s campaign tries to argue that WWII had very fine people on both sides

Yes, you are literally the only one.  And that you’d compare this to blackface is stunningly offensive.

No, I honestly don’t give a shit how impossibly rich spoiled royal Saudi autocrat prince Mohammed Bone Saw was portrayed. The person who ordered the torture, murder and dismembering of a journalist with US residency and protection. Fuck him to hell. Your concern trolling is really boring. Arimisen is of Japanese

There ain't no party like a wine and cheese party 'cause a wine and cheese party is mandatory!

Avengers? Bad Times at the El Diablo?

Um, no. Sorry, but South Park making an episode that made you mad was not momentous enough an event to shift the totality of discourse about global warming in the United States.

“A.V. Club to tower, beginning analysis now.”

I’m not one to criticise a journalist’s approach to, uh, journalism, but I find the AV Club’s South Park coverage to be just, like, so weird. The first-name basis with Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the attempt to reverse-engineer a cogent ideological statement out of every episode, the way you discuss theme as though
