    I too have an inexplicable love for Gremlins 2. “Cartoon-like chaos” films are super rare, the only other one that comes to mind is 1941.

    I’ve done a little experimentation and using a powered USB hub as an extension (pc - hub - camera) worked for me with a couple different Logitech cameras, but YMMV  

    I realized I’ve been doing a version of this all my life, but instead of a “do nothing day” I block out 2-3 hours in the evening on a daily basis as “do nothing time”. Read a book? Sure. Play a video game? Why not. Fart around on the internet while the TV is on? 90% of the time, yup. Daily might be considered excessive…

    I recommend using wet-erase markers or Sharpies so you won’t have to worry about smudging. If you use Sharpies instead of wet-erase markers you can clear the ink off by tracing over the lines over with a dry-erase marker, it acts like an eraser. You can also use clear packing tape as the laminating material in a pinch.

    Wrapping paper can be pulped in a blender and turned into cool looking sheets of paper if you have a vat and a mould & deckle (check local craft supply stores for hand-papermaking kits). All the color & shiny bits become flecks in the paper. Oh, and never use that blender for food again.

    That’s exactly right, any plant-based fiber containing cellulose can be used for papermaking. Sorry, been working with plant-based materials so much I forgot the term “natural” includes animals!

    If your BufEx is anything like mine, they allow you to donate whatever they don’t take to one of three local charities.

    Clothing made from natural fibers can also be turned into paper, if you can find a papermaker with a Hollander beater to break down the material. Ask them if they would be interested first, though! My wife and I run a handmade papermaking studio and we have a small pile of donated clothing that we just don’t have time…

    Had one non-impacted one extracted last year for about the same reason; its easier to clean back there without it in the way. Still have three in my head under a layer of tissue. One is sideways, and one is straddling a nerve... I’m in my 40's, so unless they start wiggling, they’re not going anywhere.
