Wrote one after what I thought was an okay-towards-good interview. I didn’t get the job, but 7 months later the owner of the company called me and said the position opened up again and wanted to see if I was still interested before posting the position online. I accepted and it’s been great! I think the note helped

My “WearOS” watch (grumble*itsandroidweardammit*grumble) has had a breathing exercise option in the Google Fit app for the last few os updates. I had totally forgotten about it, mahalo for reminding me!

For some reason unconscious me gets in all sorts of odd positions that cut off circulation to various parts, happens to my right arm a lot. Whats worse than having an arm fall asleep though is an eye... sometimes I get in a weird, unconscious position where theres constant pressure on my eyeball. If I wake up quickly

That’s exactly right, any plant-based fiber containing cellulose can be used for papermaking. Sorry, been working with plant-based materials so much I forgot the term “natural” includes animals!

If your BufEx is anything like mine, they allow you to donate whatever they don’t take to one of three local charities.

Clothing made from natural fibers can also be turned into paper, if you can find a papermaker with a Hollander beater to break down the material. Ask them if they would be interested first, though! My wife and I run a handmade papermaking studio and we have a small pile of donated clothing that we just don’t have time

Had one non-impacted one extracted last year for about the same reason; its easier to clean back there without it in the way. Still have three in my head under a layer of tissue. One is sideways, and one is straddling a nerve... I’m in my 40's, so unless they start wiggling, they’re not going anywhere.

Fixin’ To’s frito pie will be my undoing!

Nice, been to Double Dragon & Double Barrel, good to know they are chill. I’m “based” in NoPo... the wifi at the McMenamin’s in St. Johns is terrible!

I am a newly-minted WFH’er (a few days a week) and also a Portlander... which places do you recommend around town for getting things done?

I have some recent experience this. My wife and I were victims of arson in the middle of the night back in August. Police arrested the person they believe was responsible in September, and we were subpoenaed as witnesses and interviewed individually in front of a grand jury to help the jurors decide on laying down an

That’s pretty much what I’ve been doing with my weekly show for over 2 years, except my “friend” is the audience and I keep it around 20 minutes. ihabat.podomatic.com

Not only is it required for my (day) office job, but I use the shred to make recycled handpaper with my wife at our night venture pulpanddeckle.com. KEEP SHREDDING ALL THE THINGS!

My wife and I run a handmade papermaking studio called Pulp & Deckle in St. Johns in Portland, Oregon. We teach classes in different papermaking techniques and offer different "boutique" paper products on our etsy store. We specialize in recycled and western-style papermaking, and hope to learn (and then teach)
