@Covenant: if you go play the game at Best Buy or Target you'll see that under normal crashes the damage is actually not that bad.

@toa95: No way man! EA never did NASCAR justice, this will be the best NASCAR experience on any console since Dirt to Daytona on the PS2 way back in 03! Unfortunately we won't have 43 car fields and only 2 or so official tracks BUT it's a day one buy for me just for NASCAR so we're in the same boat haha.

@Roach: Eh, you have to go to a race to really enjoy it I guess. Anyhow, with GT5 you can race NASCAR on any of the road courses such as Monza or The Ring.

@Chewbenator: yeah I was in for a rude awakening with GT5 Prologue. I am usually in the top 5-10% in the world on that game with a controller, with a wheel, ehhhh not so much.

@MacGyver1138: we'll see, but I know myself and a lot of my NASCAR buddies are dying for this game to come out since there's not any NASCAR games coming out anymore. Hopefully with the track creation tool we'll be able to make representations of the NASCAR tracks that won't be in GT5.

Having a racing wheel allowed my friends who couldn't play GT5P with the dualshock to be quite competitive. Although you'll have to learn how to play racing games all over again, having the wheel feels SO much more natural that once you get used to it there's no going back.

@MacGyver1138: The photo modes have different filters you can use to adjust how the picture will look. The thing is with GT5 sometimes the cars won't look as real at some angles whereas in other cases it will be almost indistinguishable from the real thing, as seen above.
