Totally agree with you about Luke Cage by the way. I was so prepared to stick with it all the way until the bitter end, but I eventually had to quit I was actually starting to get ANGRY about how bad it was.

I just don't think Jones has much on-screen charisma. But I thought that about him when he was Loras so when I heard they hired him as the lead here, I was already worried. He hasn't changed my mind so far.

Ok I'm relieved to hear that cuz I'm on episode 3 now and I'm this close to calling it quits. It's kinda boring, the fights are not very good, and there's a general goofiness to the proceedings that is beginning to eat away at my patience. The performances are generally bland with the exception of Ward who's almost

Unfortunately yes. Lots of annonymous judgemental people out there whose own children are probably nightmares to be around.

Seriously?? The Norman and mother convos are the some of the best parts of the show! Wow, I never thought anyone would dislike that aspect! Not to mention, without them, we will not get any Vera Farmiga. That would be horrible!

A creepy yet completely sympathetic guy at the same time. That's a pretty hard feat to pull off. Not to negate Perkins' amazing performance, but he was more creep than lonely little boy. I think it's a very hard balancing act. There should be some kind of award for actors who are able transcend the iconic performances

Thank you for pointing out the reviewer's transphobia comments. That really threw me but I couldn't put into words why. You summed it up perfectly. I feel like it's making the show and character into something that it was not meant to be and so I can't agree with her take on the show. I think Alex McLevy's reviews

Maybe Norman is just THAT alluring in person that even the creepier things he does seem somewhat charming.

Lol, that's weird but also a little sad. Poor guy. But again, you probably wouldn't actually start wearing the clothes, and in front of him too, right? Norman was weird for asking but I gotta say Madeline is a little odd for obliging as well. In retrospect what was even weird is how he presented the clothes, all in a

Ah, there it is. Thanks for reminding me. I thought Caleb only took the money from the gun run deal that went south but I'd forgotten it was actually Chick's money he took. Still, wouldn't you think he actually OWNS the cabin, like it was passed down through the generations, instead of only paying mortgage on it? Lol.

That would be a red flag for me so it's almost funny that she takes all of it in good stride and is STILL attracted to him. She's either really desperately lonely or Norman has that much game.

They definitely look like they're related.

I think the only remotely ploddy parts were the scenes involving Romero and the sheriff. I know they're necessary for future developments, but they just detracted from all the other much better moments for me. Still, I'm giving the ep an A…but then again I think all the eps so far this season have deserved that grade.

I'm actually really relieved Isabelle McNally is so good. My God, imagine if we were saddled with a Nicola Peltz level actress in that role? It would have been so disastrous. I mean, I guess Rihanna could still be that bad, but I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

Oh my God, I wish there could be some kind of spin-off show consisting only of the adventures of Norman, Chick and Norma/n! Every time the three of them are on screen it is GOLDEN. I love every second! I almost wish that the real Norma had partnered up with Chick platonically to co-parent Norman; they could have

One of my dogs are worse: every time the phone rings he starts barking and continues barking throughout most of my conversation. He has a loud bark and he insists on doing that like RIGHT NEXT to my ear if I'm sitting down. No idea why he does that.

So adorable! Definitely great gift for the end of a long day! Thanks!

I'm wondering if this is their way of discouraging us from reading all the comments since many of them are critical of AV Club.

Wait, I was talking about Brie Larson. I'm positing the idea that maybe her opinion isn't just based on the lawsuit that was made public but that she actually personally knows the people involved and therefore has a more accurate take on what went down, leading to her decision to react the way she has been doing. She

I don't. I hate how things are squished to one side of the screen. Is there an option for me to go back to the previous format?
