Diratly, glad you’re here, thanks for sharing your brave story and thanks for voting for Biden.

We feel the same over here. Sheer and utter relief. More work to be done, but there remains hope that being good and honest does still actually matter.

Are we going to pretend that a whole lot of people on this site - commenters and writers - didn’t work overtime to take Joe Biden down? Are we going to pretend that this site didn’t accuse him of hiding in his basement, being a segregationist, and being “credibly accused” of rape? How many people here claimed that Joe

Indeed. Congrats to America from their Canadian cousins!!

I feel sad that the great John Lewis was not here to see this...

This lady from overseas raises her bottle of cider to all you warriors, to all you fighters, to all you not-let-uppers. You did it. I’m a crying mess of relief because you. did. it.

Okay. First things first.

I have an electric griddle that spends most of its time in a cabinet since I don’t like to be arsed to use it when I just want to eat.

I made Allison’s brown butter cinnamon rolls last weekend. They were delicious and weren’t really the pain in the ass she claims they are. They do take a long time though.

Don’t forget valid phobias--I feel bad for people who don’t hate animals but truly fear them.

Wow just wow. Almost everyone quoted in this article is like, “yeah it’s shitty that my employees were treated like that but that’s how I was treated when I was in their position...” We talk about breaking the cycle of abuse in personal relationships and maybe we should start applying that thinking to the restaurant in

I don’t know what Indian restaurants are like in the US (for they do differ from country to country, as I discovered when I was in New Zealand and had possibly the most delicious Keralan-style fish curry I’ve ever had) but a couple of things that one should always, always try and order at an Indian restaurant

Those things aren’t acquired tastes because they are “complex”. Bud Light certainty isn’t complex as mentioned.

“Jesus “Not want to go through the work of learning to like bear or wine.” What a condescending prick like thing to say.”

What they really need is a cheat sheet for Dim Sum restaurants.

That's very interesting, thanks. I thought it was odd that the dish was called out for being so fiery; I made it from the Classic Indian Cooking cookbook and it wasn't terribly hot at all, just had alot of complexity from the spices and other non-typical ingredients, attributed to those Portuguese colonists you

I mention in a different post: there is no authentic, legitimate spicy vindaloo. It is a Goa dish, far from wherever most Indians (or Pakistanis) who migrate to North America to open restaurants come from. Like, "as far as Sweden from Spain, they have very different cuisines despite both places being called 'India'"
