As long as nobody in the writers room is even allowed to LOOK at the early issues of Red Hood and the Outlaws before the frantic outrage fueled course correction. Lets just pretend that appalling portrayal never happened.

A good compromise would be for her to have a golden glow and flaming hair while her powers are manifesting, but go closer to Diop’s natural appearance when not using her powers.

Kris Anka’s Psylocke look from a few years back is one of my favorites:

Psylocke’s third costume is great because the idea was basically “I’m a telepath why am I not wearing a suit of armor at all times?”

I would assume so. JJ was, to me, a show about how the persistence of trauma; letting her just snap a neck out of it would cheapen the whole thing.

I really hope it’s just flashbacks. It would make sense - ptsd doesn’t vanish just because the source of it vanishes.

Pretty sure he’s this guy:

How fucking conceited and oblivious do you have to be to type that and hit SEND? Do white people have to insert themselves into everything?

That tweet was unbelievably innocuous and kinda warm. It sounds as divisive as “shoutout to mom’s cooking.”

That’s a shame because, up close, the League’s costumes look great.

Curry’s packing a lot of cod.

No. It’s nothing like the Wasp. Nothing.

Plenty of racists in Oregon and all, but i have a hard time believing this guy never had it explained to him before why racism is bad in fucking Portland...

Again with that “Have an open conversation” shit...

No sympathy for this guy, but it’s interesting that his remarks as quoted above show at least a hint of self-awareness. Let’s hope he resolves to be a better person, though I won’t exactly be holding my breath on that one.

You’re welcome.

Is anyone wanting the government to file charges against this guy for what he said? It doesn’t seem like it. So how does this go against free speech in any way? “Freedom of speech” does not mean “freedom from consequences for what you say.”

That’s not it. You can say what you want. That doesn’t mean it won’t have consequences. Free speech is about the Government suppressing speech. Not shielding each other from consequences of saying stupid things. It depresses me I have to type this to someone (for like, the 11th time)

Free speech is freedom from government oppression. It is NOT freedom from consequences from the public. If you want to be a bigot verbally (not particularly the case here), you won’t be thrown in jail by the government. You will be condemned by everyone though.
