Given that Disneyland closed Saturday (I hear for only the 4th time ever), would a DisneyWorld closure perhaps make this whole thing “real” for Florida in the same way that today’s decimation of planned sporting events has certainly brought it home for a lot of other people?

Not really a feasible option for anything above fast-casual. Anywhere with a drive-thru will be fine, but most restaurants in urban centers are not equipped or staffed for that volume of takeout/delivery. Hell, Uber Eats/GrubHub/DoorDash has enough trouble already handling more than 2 orders that come across our

don’t have the ability to take food to go.

Yeah I’m in the Tampa bay area and no one is slowing down for anything here. Even the chinese buffet my wife and I go to is still doing a very brisk business, much to my relief.

Reading these comments makes me think that Florida is YOLO at the moment. My wife and I went out to eat at a chain last night (we just moved into an area with it and we hadn’t been for years now - we have been trying some new local places around the past few weeks as well) and it was PACKED. PACKED. We said that was

Restaurants should start considering going take out only for the time being and ramp up delivery services. People still need to eat, and lazy people aren’t going to just learn to cook all of a sudden.

Mixed feelings abound. I think this would be a great car for a TV show. It looks more practical. I certainly don’t mind returning to an actual car form-factor as opposed to the tanks we’ve had for the past fifteen years (I say that as someone who unabashedly loves the Tumbler).

how do you block stupid shit like this with kinja?

Even though he bought it years ago, he's still a dumbass. Toilet paper won't keep for 20 years, especially unsealed and exposed like that. In another 2-3 a lot is going to be so gross looking he won't want to use it.

Ming Na Wen, the Actress who played Chun Li in the movie (and in the game tie-in) is 56 and doesnt look nearly as old as the twitter drawing.

he is a guy who can make dumb, but entertaining enough films

Okay, while I totoally don’t want to defend this (pretty unnecessary) movie - I don’t see, why this should be uncanny, but Detective Pikachu isn’t? For me, this one here is at least overall easier to look at, than the sometimes pretty uncanny and creepy animated Pokemon from Detective Pikachu.

That and the original was famously butchered in the editing when translated from Japanese to English, and Mewtwo was made overtly evil rather than existential. This might be the best way for kids to see the story as originally intended without having to resort to subtitles, which can be hard for 8-year-olds...

I’m confused, but not outraged. In any case, Damon works for The Root, so he can’t afford first class, so it’s obviously fiction and satire.

I flew coach to Japan and it made coach worse

Whether E3 is dying or not, less Keighley always seems like a good thing...

I can’t help but be cynical about his bowing out of E3 coverage. I know the timeframes don’t line up but it does feel like this is a move to maybe go full bore in making the VGAs THE premiere announcement/trailer drop destination in the next few years.

I know Keighley stands to make a lot of money if the perception

I mean, if you’re going to include a gif, at least it’s a good one.

Nintendo won that court case. They can make Kadabra cards (and did for about a year after the case) but choose not to. He’s basically the Anime!Porygon of the TCG.

It’s not Android 18 without a permanent look of boredom. Fail!
