Yes, but unlike GameFreak, Nintendo actually learns something, does it less and improves on the final product. They are usually detached from the actual console and is more secondary than primary. Showdown, for example, is one of the tools that is used over the game because of how convenient and useful it is.

First it was RAD, then Oninaki with it’s repetitive combat, later it was Link’s Awakening was barely playable with Link’s speed, and Blasphemous had too many bugs and glitches and was generally boring and easy.. Finally, the re-release (switch) of Dragon Quest’s combat is SO boring it made me stop playing..

Looking at that Gundam trailer.. makes me think about the way Anime has lost it’s quality. Wing had good characters, drawings and story.. this one is a borderline BayBlade-like anime.
