How is that even possible? Being unable to find a way to end the game cannot be right! As you can make it so you lose, therefore ending the game.. but I assume they are attempting to find a way to win instead.

There was a digital version of this game online (for free) that ran on your browser and you were able to play with other people over the world. If the code for it already existed long ago, it makes sense that this didn’t cost a lot of money to make (aside from the upgraded graphics).

There is. The more you play it, the more you realize there are ways to get more points than other players / strategies.
Sadly, this game isn’t meant to be played as a deep game, but one you use to pass the time and simulate a rivalry.. And aside from choosing your starting character, there isn’t much to Tokaido.
