The core of the issue remains economic. When there exists economic disparity those who control the discourse look for any reason other than economics to justify their place as one of the “haves”.

Wouldn’t it be nice if, instead of attacking everything but the issues we actually discussed issues at hand for the campaign?
Destiny isn’t a MMO. Not at all. There exists no persistence in the world.
I, honestly, find quick matches at low-power to be afar more engaging than the 30minute loss-in-process that most games seem to want to claim is “good”.
Dear god... if this is the concept I don’t want to live in their world.
Yes. Someone else is you. The laws of space and time have been mastered by you.
Excellent article, Jia. It does strike me that the female stoners I am friends with now are very different from the male stoners I grew up with
As women, weed, and control make up three of my top five interests
Wait...
Why would anyone need Facebook? same issue. I don’t need facebook, but damn if I can properly avoid it if I want ti have a successful product.
At least Nintendo pays their investors.
Uhh... FACEBOOK OWNS OCCULUS RIFT.
Likely in the same way you think the existence of a “black eye” means a man should inherently be put to death.
Oh? Aliens are real? So you’re like the Bros who insist on policy? OH, WAIT...
The guy on the right spent a lot of time speeding up to pass in the auto’s blind spot. In any case, going around an auto as a group on both sides is just stupid.
This was caused by one thing and one thing only, a severe speed differential between the two vehicles.
Absolutely. I love PvP and flying killed any open PvP that was left. It made PvE landscape stuff so easy. A lot of changes since then have seemed to be trying to make footing it as easy as flying.
I guess a someone who plays 95% MMOs I’ve just hit a wall with the Pavlovian reinforcement and insane hand-holding. Hell, it has been creeping into single player RPGs for years now and made Skyrim a pretty “meh” experience for me after putting hundreds of hours into both Morrowind and Oblivion.
The largest design difference was that Cata really turned the quests up to 11. During Vanilla/TBC/WotLK there was still a rather simplistic idea of quest flow, from my memory. There were plenty of quests to get you “go here, go there” and find other quests, but they were often more spread out and under the concept…
I want to play in a world where Blizzard is simply confident.
