The problem with the XJ, Xterra, and Hummer was over your head, literally. Closest competitor was the FJ...fixed roof=no sale. An aluminium bodied Bronco with a modern removable roof ( read quit, safe, and easy to on/off) a raptor version and an inexpensive turbodiesel manual version will sell like crazy.
