Serotogenic antidepressants (which citalopram is) are also very good for anxiety, so doc might not have been entirely off the mark.

I’ve been attracted to women since before puberty and I don’t find her hot at all.
Basically the difference is that the medical and psychological establishments agree that transgender is a real medical condition that is consistent with our understanding of biology and borne out by the (admittedly limited) number of studies they’ve done on the subject. Trans-race is not. It doesn’t make sense in the…
As a trans masculine person who brought a sexual harassment complaint at my former place of employment as a “woman,” this line of argument is making me fantastically uncomfortable. I agree that whatever this woman has got going on is not the same as what I’ve got going on, but the line of argument you’re using is…
That’s a pretty douchey thing to say. Ain’t nothing wrong with leg hair on people of any gender.
Thanks. I have a dissociative disorder and horseshit like this is obnoxious as fuck.
Having filed a sexual harassment complaint against a coworker, this is exactly how it went down.
My cat is like this. I’m actually currently typing really awkwardly because she’s possessively sprawled across my chest, purring loudly, with one paw on my face. Follows me to the bathroom, to the kitchen, runs up SCREAMING to greet me every day when I come home from work. Whenever I’m home she’s either sitting on me…
Some people are okay with pronoun switching for past events, but the general rule is to refer to them using their chosen name and current pronouns when referring to past, present, and future.
Noooooooo, god don’t do that.
I know mostly about FtM surgery (more relevant to me, lel), but I know one of the more prominent FtM surgeons also does MtF surgeries, and he’s double-certified in urology and plastic surgery.
It’s nearly impossible to get any job here that doesn’t drug test, at least when they hire you.
Yes, how dare we care about issues of consent! >.>
Uhh, you obviously have not participated in the puppy or pony play communities at ALL of you think it isn’t sexual. I’m genuinely flabbergasted at somebody being so naive.
Ugh, stop making me love Taylor Swift more than I already do (turns out it’s possible).
Passive-aggressive, dear. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?ter…
That’s kinda bullshit. I don’t really get the “trash the dress” thing and think it sounds stupid, but she bought the dress, it’s her dress, and she doesn’t have to donate it to anybody if she doesn’t want to. It’s weirdly entitled and kind of gross to insist that she needs to. She can do whatever the fuck she wants…
I find people argue with me when I tell them how much I weigh or mention how big I am, etc. I had an ex absolutely insist that there was no way I was above 180 when I told him I weighed 230. Or I’ll make some throwaway comment about how I’m fat and people basically gasp in horror and then rush to tell me I’m not.
Nothing drives me crazy like a hairstylist that basically just refuses to follow your instructions.
I used to bring reference photos in to every haircut, but at one point a stylist gave a big sigh and an eye-roll when I pulled it out and socially-anxious me has been too nervous of offending someone to keep doing it.
