Its amazing how one tweet from a random leftist guy causes a business to change its practices, potentially losing the business hundreds or thousands of customers. Very strange times we live in. They’ll probably re-instate the discount once twitter doesn’t care anymore and moves on the the next headline.
You’re looking at it wrong.
That’ll be the endurance series.
Yeah, but if it’s legal for anyone to park there for as long as they want, then he can, too. Not his fault the parking ordinance has an exploitable loophole.
No. Just, no.
If only there was a way to do it without driving!
Why is it ridiculous? These women are not getting rides as it stands, so how does giving them a spotlight to shine end up as a negative?
Are you also against the WNBA or the NWHL? Do you think those women should be playing in the NBA and NHL?
If I may be so bold, I would humbly offer that this is little to do with women being inferior drivers that need their own racing series and a lot to do with an attempt to launch yet another open-wheel series, which means another production run of tubs for some car builder - probably Dallara or Tatuus - and another…
Here’s my counter-argument. In sports, the players support the fans and the fans, a tiny few of them, eventually become the players. But it takes a long long time. A kid has to grow up watching Fangio and Moss and Clark before he heroically transforms himself into a Senna, right? Takes at least a decade or a decade…
Also a great clickbait? Painting a 15 year old company as a startup fighting establishment all while receiving money via same channels.
More constructive comment would have included delivery delays and fit&finish scorecard for other makes specifically for lower end models requiring metal to aluminum welding.
“This is with a brand that has no print or television advertising.”
So where did they spend $48M past fiscal year?
And as Doug DeMuro so eloquently put it “when was the last time you saw someone sleeping outside a dealership to get a car?”
When was the last time you saw someone camp overnight to be able to place a refundable deposit on a car they may be able to purchase in a year or two? Mass hysteria isn’t a very solid business model, IMHO.
We really need to stop lumping BEV’s and Hybrids together into one “electric” sales number. One has an internal combustion engine, the other doesn’t. By lumping them together, it obscures the real picture of how slowly the ICE is actually being replaced and drastically over magnifies the actual sales rate of BEV’s.
Nope, Tesla is gambling on the average person buying their cars. If a recession hits and suddenly the average person is out of work then Tesla can kiss their ass goodbye.
I found the Sales Manager, everyone.
How does that apply to pre-owned cars?
