@Orionsaint: They didn't quickly rush out 7. Look at the release cycle before XP, they were releasing every 3-4 years. Now they're getting back on track.

@songsforstephen: Disable add on compatibility checking? Go to about:config. Create a new boolian titled "extensions.checkCompatibility" and set it to false. unless there is something that they changed that the add on depends on it should work fine. #firefox36

I just switched to Beta 2 from Firefox 3.0.15 (I have performance issues with 3.5.xx.) It seems nice so far. Even though the thumbnail previews are a bit glitchy with the Windows 7 taskbar, it's better than not having them at all. I don't think I'll go back to an older version now. #firefox36

@ShakespeareGeek: It's going to be a bit before they figure out that DRM doesn't work on books either. We finally have (mostly) DRM free music, I expect other industries to change soon. #kindle

@njdevil: Rule #1 for manufacturer computer repair. Remove anything that you did not order with the machine. The hard drive, RAM, etc. They are not responsible for it, only for the parts they sold you.

I still want to know if this will work with other Blu-ray players besides the PS3. It's a BD Live disc, so it should work, but there's probably some way they can break it. #netflix

@nipsen: The thing is, I'm RENTING the movies. I'm not supposed to do anything other than watch them. This is perfectly acceptable. Netflix still sends out DVDs as well.

This is nothing new. EA has been doing this for ages with their games. Unlock all the weapons in Medal of Honor for $10, get all the car upgrades in Need for Speed for $5. #parachutepanic

@TheRuiner: Ouch. I should be careful, as I have a similar model (550.) The okay button has never stuck, but the play and pause buttons always do. #dogordersmicrosoftpoints

@Dafrety: In effect, there's only three versions your normal consumer can purchase. Only two they should be actually interested in, and they'll most likely get the cheaper one. #windows7
