You assume everything is equal. In America we educate everyone. Think about that for a second. Every single child has a right to education.

Most of the world runs because of a small fraction of people who make things and keep things running. The rest of us are reaping the benefits of their ingenuity and labour.

We may use shorthand phrases about "teams" being patient, but patience at the plate would ultimately be appropriately modeled as an individual-player phenomena.
