Even if you accept the need for wings, why are the guns all the way on the outside of the wings? This would require them to be canted slightly inward, and then you have to get to a very precise distance from the target in order to hit it and not have the laser bolts pass harmlessly around the target. The objects on the table are all wrong. You do this trick with plates and short glasses because of their low center of gravity. Tall, heavy candlesticks will topple easily because their center of mass is so high off the table top.

Aww... the Pepsi Perfect bottle in the movie had a built in straw. Looks like they went for the look, but not the functionality. For $20, they should have made it more of an actual replica ;)
