Oh there is actually! One reason why I got into it was the fact that there seemed to be more strong female characters in anime then regular western media. I forgot to mention...all of Hayao Miyazaki works usually have some good female characters too.

Kyousogaiga is seriously my favorite series this year. I don't cry at stuff often but that show gave me MAJOR feels!

Beyond the Boundary was great for about half the episodes...until episode 6. Then it went downhill.

Good for him. I'm not a fan overall of his movies(only liked Dogma) but I've read some of his books and I've seen 'A Night With Kevin Smith'. I wish more people would seriously speak up because even though I've been lucky on twitter where I haven't experienced too much hate, there are some serious assholes on there.
